Last year, Huami Technology announced that its self-developed “Huangshan No. 1” SoC was about to enter mass production, marking the world’s first artificial intelligence chip in the smart wearable field.
The Huangshan No. 1 is the world’s first RISC-V open instruction set wearable processor, integrating the RealBeats AI biometric data engine, capable of local real-time identification of arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, and can function as both a standalone processor and a coprocessor.
On June 11, Huami released its first hardware product equipped with this chip, the AMAZFIT Mi Health Watch. This watch utilizes Huami’s self-developed BioTracker PPG optical sensor, achieving all-day monitoring with a high sampling rate of 50Hz, and is equipped with an ECG heart rate sensor. It features a four-sided pressure-sensitive design for comprehensive and in-depth measurement of the user’s heart health. The AMAZFIT Mi Health Watch uses the Huangshan No. 1 as its main chip, employing the RealBeats AI biometric data engine to identify heart health abnormalities. The official statement indicates that in collaboration with the Cardiovascular Department of Peking University First Hospital, the accuracy of ECG atrial fibrillation judgment is 97.24%, and the accuracy of PPG atrial fibrillation judgment is 95.52%. Additionally, it is equipped with NB-IoT independent communication, allowing it to report emergency health events in real-time without needing to connect to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, capable of transmitting important information such as low or high heart rates at rest, PPG-detected atrial fibrillation, and fall detection.
Finally, the official announcement states that the AMAZFIT Mi Health Watch can achieve a battery life of 7 days, priced at 699 yuan, and will be available for sale in July.
