The Development Path of Domestic Embedded Operating Systems

The Development Path of Domestic Embedded Operating SystemsEmbedded systems are the foundation of the electronic information industry and the core of intelligent systems. With the rapid development of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, embedded operating systems play an increasingly important role in intelligent systems. To cope with the increasingly complex external environment, domestic intelligent systems are more reliant on domestic embedded operating systems.

Embedded operating systems have a long history, are diverse, and have a wide range of applications. They include not only RTOS, open-source Linux, robotics, and router operating systems but also new types of IoT operating systems and edge computing operating system platforms. Any open-source project developed and maintained by Chinese individuals can be broadly referred to as a “domestic embedded operating system.”

The Development Path of Domestic Embedded Operating SystemsThe organizers plan to invite about 15 experts and scholars engaged in the research, education, development, and maintenance of open-source projects related to embedded operating systems to participate in the forum’s keynote speeches and guest discussions. They will discuss the latest technologies, industry opportunities, and business models for embedded operating systems, as well as explore a series of hot topics that contribute to the development of domestic embedded operating systems, such as standardization, ecological construction, and international cooperation.
