This chip integrates 8 LA364E processor cores, achieving a single-core fixed-point score of 30 points in the SPEC CPU 2006 Base (an industry-standard CPU benchmark suite) at a measured frequency of 2.5GHz.

The chip integrates the second-generation self-developed general-purpose graphics processing unit core, LG200, which has significantly improved graphics performance compared to the first-generation GPU core integrated with the Loongson 2K2000. In addition to graphics acceleration, the LG200 also supports general computing acceleration and AI acceleration, with a single-precision floating-point peak performance of 256 GFLOPS (billion floating-point operations per second) and an 8-bit fixed-point peak performance of 8 TOPS (a unit of processor computing capability, where 1 TOPS represents one trillion operations per second). Currently, the computing power framework and related AI acceleration software have completed preliminary testing, and related supporting software is being improved. Dozens of industrial control and information technology companies have begun to adopt this chip for product design.

The successful tape-out of the new processor marks that Loongson Technology has systematically mastered the key core technologies for general processors, graphics processors, AI processors, and their foundational software design after more than 20 years of accumulation. The development of Loongson processors is entering a new stage of vigorously developing AI processors while consolidating the foundations of general and graphics processors, advancing towards building an independent information technology system. Currently, the Loongson general-purpose CPU has formed a complete series of products across desktop, server, and terminal lines, capable of providing high-performance and cost-effective CPU chip products for different fields.
