The UK Matches pub has adopted the Powersoft dynamic music distribution system, simplifying complex routing and zoning setups. For system integrators, it streamlines the audio system design and delivery process, while owners enjoy an efficient and convenient control mode.
Dynamic Music Distribution System
Making multi-zone and multi-source management simpler
With the embedded routing functionality, Powersoft amplifiers are now integrated into our system and can be controlled via ArmoníaPlus, DSP, and user interfaces.
Dynamic music distribution refers to the ability to share multiple audio sources between different zones. Systems equipped with this feature are easy to configure and operate, easily meeting the quality standards for small to medium background and foreground music distribution applications.
Features
Simplifying complex routing and zoning setups
Audio Sources and Zones — During system establishment, a routing matrix, network switch, and digital audio processing functions are integrated into the same device, reducing the number of hardware and network cables. ArmoníaPlus’s object-based signal flow allows for easy sharing of audio sources across multiple zones without considering the location of the signal source. Control signals can also be shared over the network, and control interfaces (such as wall-mounted panels) can be used with any amplifier in the system. DSP Integration — The Mezzo series amplifiers provide complete DSP processing for low-latency real-time audio processing. This DSP can also select input sources, support per-channel crossovers and parametric IIR equalizers, allow for a minimum of 80ms delay adjustment for system calibration, support RMS and peak limiters, and enable real-time impedance monitoring. Dynamic Routing — Powersoft amplifiers that support DSP and Dante can manage analog and digital signal sources and share these signals over the network.
Scalability — The object-based signal flow allows users to conveniently and efficiently adjust the number of audio sources and zones according to their needs.
Flexible Inputs — Each amplifier in the network can serve as an input point for analog or Dante audio sources. These signals can be automatically recognized as mono, stereo, or multichannel sources. For example: a mono source can play on all speakers or be selected to play on some speakers in that zone. A stereo source can only be assigned to the left and right main speakers; a left-right mixed source (mono sum) can be assigned to subwoofers. Multichannel sources can be assigned to any speaker or speaker group for playback.
Dynamic Connectivity — Audio source objects are available on every amplifier in the network, making it easy to set up complex routing and zoning options. Powersoft amplifiers that support DSP now include dynamic Dante connection functionality (Dynamic Dante patching), eliminating the need for Dante Controller software for Dante signal patching. All interactions in the system can be changed in real-time or saved as scenes, which can be easily stored and recalled via wall-mounted panels and touch screens. Wall-mounted Touch Screen — A compact, efficient, and intuitive control tool that allows for complete control of the dynamic music distribution system. The wall-mounted touch screen can independently control the system while driving a system composed of wall-mounted touch panel units, and can also serve as the host for mobile devices controlling the system.
