Improving Quality and Efficiency
To further enhance the company’s safety production level and operational efficiency, and better meet customer demands, Shunda Port has recently successfully introduced new equipment— electromagnetic lifting devices. The implementation of this equipment not only strengthens the safety defense line for steel loading and unloading operations at Shunda Port but also significantly improves operational efficiency, effectively solving production challenges.
Previously, the unloading of steel plates at Shunda Port mainly relied on gantry cranes with hook equipment, which had issues such as complex operational processes, long time consumption, and high labor costs, making it difficult to meet customer and market demands, and workers had to perform weight measurement, plate separation, and repeated hooking operations in complex on-site environments, which posed safety risks such as hook slippage. Now, the use of electromagnetic lifting devices has completely changed this situation. After training, on-site operators have seen a twofold increase in operational efficiency, significantly reducing labor costs and making cargo turnover more safe and efficient.
It is understood that electromagnetic lifting devices are equipment that rely on electromagnetic force for material lifting, widely used in industrial production, especially in the field of material handling, characterized by high operational efficiency, strong safety performance, low operating costs, and good unloading quality. The electromagnetic lifting device introduced by Shunda Port has a maximum lifting capacity of 35 tons, fully meeting on-site operational needs.
In the next step, Shunda Port will focus on upgrading equipment technology, increasing investment and innovation, working on optimizing operational processes and personnel skills training to continuously improve unloading service quality and efficiency, supporting safe and orderly port production.
