Can provide tested and verified DDR core templates and core component selection tables, facilitating rapid productization for customers.
3. RK3568 features excellent power consumption control technology, resulting in lower heat generation and strong environmental adaptability
Rockchip’s self-developed S-Boost power control technology improves performance by 10% at the same voltage and reduces power consumption by 20% at the same frequency. Combined with the energy-saving advantages of the 22nm advanced process, the heat generation of security backend products is more balanced, making them more reliable in high-temperature environments.
Rockchip’s self-developed super standby mode, under the LPDDR4X application scheme, through hardware and software cooperation, can reduce the overall power consumption to 1.6mA (3.8V power supply), suitable for products with special ultra-low power consumption requirements.
4. RK3568 supports rich interface expansion, enabling three-screen display to meet diverse security scenario needs
Features more flexible IOMUX, allowing for multifunctional pin combinations based on product requirements, meeting various functional combination needs.
Supports various video input and output interfaces, with output interfaces supporting built-in touch screen, capable of supporting up to three screens; input interfaces can connect external cameras or expand multi-camera input capabilities. Compared to traditional NVR solutions, RK3568 adds local display output interfaces and camera input interfaces, achieving integrated display, which aids in the application of different types of security backend product forms.
High-speed interface options are rich, supporting 2 RGMII interfaces, supporting PCIE2.1, PCIE3.0, up to 3 SATA3.0, 2 USB2.0, and 2 USB3.0; PCIE interfaces make high-speed throughput applications for 5G and WiFi6 possible, supporting operators and cloud services.
The RK3568 security backend NVR/XVR solution, in addition to traditional access, storage, forwarding, and decoding applications, based on its high-performance AI computing power, can also develop intelligent applications in areas such as facial comparison alarms, intelligent vehicle detection, boundary intrusion warnings, and fire visual warnings, reconstructing edge value.Facial Comparison AlarmThe RK3568 solution can support video stream or image stream detection and recognition, outputting real-time face comparisons by identifying facial attributes such as gender, age, and expression.Intelligent Vehicle DetectionSupports functions such as image-based searches, face-based searches, comparative linkage, second-level retrieval, and alerting.Boundary Intrusion AlarmBased on Rockchip’s self-developed efficient RKNN AI processing unit, the RK3568 solution implements applications for area intrusion and boundary detection, recognizing targets such as humans and vehicles, filtering various environmental interferences like plants, light and shadow, and small animals to avoid false alarms.Fire Visual WarningBased on the powerful core processing capabilities of RK3568, it supports a security NVR system centered around temperature rise detection and smoke detection, capable of marking smoke and fire points, with video linkage for rapid verification, meeting early fire detection needs.Currently, the RK3568 security backend solution has entered mass production. Meanwhile, Rockchip has launched two evaluation development boards based on RK3568, specifically for NVR/XVR scenarios and DDR4 evaluation boards for industrial control security scenarios, aiming to help downstream partners quickly adapt and validate related product functions, facilitating the comprehensive hardware upgrade and product implementation of the new generation of intelligent security backend devices.RK3568 NVR Demo BoardRK3568 DDR4 EVB
