Mr. Wu Wei, ambassador of the RISC-V International Foundation and principal of the Jiachen Project, sent five Orange Pi boards to Yingqi Intelligent.The Orange Pi, with its powerful performance and rich features, will provide strong support for Yingqi Intelligent’s research and development work. The received Orange Pi development boards not only enrich their development resources but also inject new vitality into the technical exploration and innovative practices of the open-source community.


In April 2025, Debian developers and RISC-V porters visited Yingqi Intelligent and successfully completed system deployment and upgrades on the LicheePi 4A development board, which was then delivered to the Debian CI and related teams to assist with continuous integration testing.This initiative not only provides strong support for the official support of riscv64 in Debian Trixie but also further promotes the improvement of the RISC-V ecosystem.

The LicheePi 4A is a high-performance RISC-V architecture development board, equipped with the TH1520 main control chip, featuring a quad-core RISC-V 64GCV C910 with a clock speed of 1.85GHz, and available with 8GB/16GB of memory. It supports various operating systems such as Debian and Android, and has rich interfaces, making it suitable for high-performance computing, multimedia processing, and other scenarios, offering high cost-performance.

During this visit to Rvlab, Yu Bo and the laboratory team engaged in in-depth discussions about future community collaboration. Both parties plan to deepen cooperation in areas such as sharing riscv64 hardware resources and RISC-V optimization, working together to promote the continuous development and optimization of RISC-V in open-source operating systems.
In recent years, the Debian community has been continuously advancing the porting work for RISC-V: In July 2023, riscv64 became an officially supported architecture in Debian; according to the current Debian release plan, the Trixie version scheduled for release in 2025 will officially support riscv64, providing comprehensive support in installation images, software repositories, and security updates. In this process, the QA team led by debci has played an indispensable role, with its stable and reliable testing status serving as an important basis for the Debian release team’s candidate official architecture. The deployment of the LicheePi 4A not only provides strong support for the upcoming Debian Trixie’s support for riscv64 but also expands the hardware resources for subsequent Debian riscv64 porting work.

In the future, with the close cooperation between the community and the laboratory, the RISC-V architecture is expected to achieve significant development.
