Editor’s Note

Our school’s second “Small Inventions and Innovations Festival” has successfully concluded. “The Million Thousand People Science and Education Prosperity School Project, helping to cultivate high-quality applied talents,” has received widespread attention from all sectors of society and major media. This festival brought together 2396 participants with small inventions and innovations, with a total of 757 projects registered, including 476 physical projects and 281 creative projects. A total of 400 outstanding achievements were selected, including 20 first prizes, 30 second prizes, 50 third prizes, 300 excellence awards, 5 outstanding invention and innovation teams, and 4 outstanding organization awards, receiving support and attention from experts, scholars, and many friends in the business community.

Today we present – College of Information Engineering, Gao Meiling’s “Remote Temperature Control System of Warehouse Using 51 Microcontroller“. Remote Temperature Control System of Warehouse Using 51 Microcontroller

Production Principle

The system’s hardware circuit design revolves around the STC89C52RC microcontroller, integrating the DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, relay module, display module, buzzer, and WiFi communication module. The entire system ensures a stable environment in the warehouse through an intelligent temperature regulation mechanism, improving the efficiency and reliability of warehouse management. When the temperature is abnormal, the buzzer sounds an alarm. The WiFi module enables remote communication with a smartphone, allowing users to view warehouse information and control temperature adjustments. The overall design is compact and efficient, meeting the remote temperature control needs of the warehouse.

Innovations

The detection system’s hardware design centers around the AT89C51 microcontroller, utilizing the DS18B20 temperature sensor for temperature control, displaying actual and preset temperatures using a digital tube, creating a digital thermometer, and enabling temperature warning control.

Functions

1. Real-time temperature monitoring: The system can collect temperature data in real-time from the warehouse and transmit the data to a remote server for users to monitor in real-time.

2. Remote control: Users can access the remote server via a smartphone or computer client and send control commands to adjust the temperature in the warehouse.

3. Data transmission: The system transmits temperature data to the remote server through a wireless communication module, achieving remote data transmission capabilities.

4. Control logic processing: The embedded system program processes the received user commands for control logic and drives the execution controller for temperature regulation.

5. User interface provision: The remote server program provides a user interface, making it convenient for users to check real-time temperature data and perform control operations.
