As the command center for Jihua Railway, road, and waterway transportation,
the ‘nervous center’ of the
Railway Transportation Department (Logistics Company) Transportation Scheduling Room
is primarily responsible for the
organization, scheduling, and control of cargo transportation,
ensuring transportation safety,
and improving transportation efficiency.
It serves as the
‘ballast’
for ensuring the safe and stable operation of cargo transportation.
With a huge display screen,
an orderly layout,
and the ringing of phones
24 hours a day, brightly lit,
This is the Railway Transportation Department (Logistics Company)
Transportation Scheduling Command Center,
which includes oil product marshalling stations, eastern transportation workshops,
and 13 other workshops (stations) such as locomotive workshops and storage workshops.
It is the
‘central nervous system’
for train scheduling command and situation handling.
‘Here, work continues day and night,
with continuous operations
for the organization of raw materials and finished product transportation,
and the intensity of inter-factory coordination work is very high.
On average, 660 railway vehicles enter and exit the factory daily,
and 104 road vehicles enter and exit the factory,’
introduced by Mao Dun, the director of the transportation scheduling room.
This phone,
‘5022’,
is the internal phone of the general scheduling room,
connecting various stations, locomotives, and production workshops’
scheduling rooms.
On average, it receives and makes a scheduling call every3 minutes,
issuing scheduling instructions,
making it the busiest phone.
Dispatcher Wang Lei
keeps a close eye on the transportation system’s marshalling operation plans
and the progress of marshalling operations through video monitoring,
as well as the loading and unloading progress of major products,
recording important information in real-time,
with orderliness and strategic planning.
The work of the duty dispatcher is critically guiding,
facing the intense transportation tasks.
Dispatcher Li Gang, after taking over,
picks up the phone,
‘Priority loading of aviation fuel at platform three,
platform one loading D92# gasoline,
and platform two loading 0# diesel.’
The oil product marshalling station combines vehicle sources,
oil tank storage, loading times, etc.,
and reports the difficulties encountered.
After several communications,
the loading situation for this shift finally begins to take shape.
The transportation scheduling room
scientifically arranges various daily vehicle tasks,
fully ensuring orderly production operations.
Dispatchers keep a close watch,
promptly stopping unsafe behaviors of drivers,
holding phones,
acting as a bridge for maintenance business information,
quickly responding and following orders,
coordinating snow removal operations day and night,
communicating in real-time and monitoring throughout,
ensuring smooth operation of commuting production.
