On April 29th, in classroom 6-606, programming experts from various grades of the Information Engineering College gathered for the competition! The topics of this competition covered multiple dimensions including basic algorithms, data structures, and program optimization, aiming to comprehensively assess the contestants’ C language programming skills and logical thinking abilities. The difficulty of the questions progressed step by step, from simple programming tasks to complex algorithm challenges, with each question testing the contestants’ knowledge and adaptability.

As the invigilators issued the start command, the contestants lowered their heads to review the questions, sometimes furrowing their brows in thought over algorithm logic, and at other times quickly writing down their ideas in code. Each question tested the depth of the students’ understanding and application of the C language. The densely packed annotations on the draft paper and the neatly commented code on the exam paper all showcased the contestants’ focus and seriousness.

After intense competition, a group of outstanding contestants emerged. The judges conducted a rigorous evaluation based on the contestants’ answers, code quality, and execution results across multiple dimensions, ultimately awarding first, second, and third prizes as well as honorable mentions.
