Summary

As more and more RK3588 development boards emerge, my expectations for their prices are decreasing. It is precisely because of their strong performance and multiple functions that we want to try them, but the cost is also increasing. This is definitely not what we expected.

Currently, the price of RK3588 development boards is generally around 1000 at the lowest, buying an RK3588 is equivalent to a consumption upgrade. Of course, as more development boards based on this chip emerge, there will definitely be a certain degree of price reduction. But it feels early for that.

For now, we can only hope for Rock5, relying on it to play with RK3588 under 1000.

Of course, with so few development boards based on this chip currently available, this price is understandable, but it still far exceeds the general perception of development board enthusiasts.
