On May 25, the 17th Fujian Province College Student Microcontroller Application Design Competition, hosted by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education and co-organized by the Fujian Electronic Society, was held at Xiamen University of Technology. Our team, the “Big Eater” from the Intelligent Blue Ocean, consisting of members Lin Qijing, Xu Gaojun, Guo Yating, and Wang Binyu (supervised by teachers Hua Xinjie and Xue Yipeng), won the first prize in the finals.
This competition attracted a total of 485 teams from 25 universities across the province. After an initial online evaluation, 196 teams from 25 undergraduate institutions participated in the finals. The projects covered various fields including smart home, smart healthcare, intelligent robotics, health care, security monitoring, and wearable devices. The finals included project presentations, defense, jury evaluations, and re-evaluations, ultimately awarding 12 first prizes, 28 second prizes, and 80 third prizes.
It is reported that the Fujian Province College Student Microcontroller Application Design Competition aims to cultivate young technological talents, providing a high-quality platform for college students to inspire creativity, practice their learning, and exchange technology. This competition has been held for 17 consecutive years and has become one of the most influential academic competitions in the field of electronic information in our province.
