At the “Feng Enzhong Master Skills Studio” of Nanjing Panda Electronics Co., Ltd., located in the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, there are representatives from four generations of national technical experts, including Feng Enzhong, Wang Yuanpeng, Ge Qing, and Liang Jiangfei, forming a skill “inheritance” from the 60s, 70s, 80s, to the 90s. They continuously pass on innovation, skills, and experience, integrating the spirit of model workers, labor spirit, and craftsmanship spirit into the construction and development of the studio, achieving extraordinary results in ordinary positions.

Technical expert Feng Enzhong from the 60s
Meticulously laying the foundation
“Treat every small detail in work seriously, avoid carelessness, and strive for perfection; success can be achieved even in ordinary positions.” In 1988, Feng Enzhong joined Panda Electronics as an assembly worker. Recalling his early work scenes, Feng Enzhong said: “At first, I was responsible for attaching the function label and mesh cover to the TV frame, then flipping it over to chamfer the edges, which needed to be completed within 20 seconds due to the assembly line operation. Later, I was debugging about 100 TV motherboards daily.”
Completing these tedious and complex repetitive tasks is not simple. “I humbly learned operational skills from my master and summarized work experiences, quickly mastering assembly skills, which laid a foundation for future equipment maintenance,” Feng Enzhong said. With solid skills, Feng Enzhong progressed from an assembly worker in the TV workshop to whole machine maintenance, and from plug-in machine maintenance to SMT equipment maintenance management. Through relentless effort and technical accumulation, he holds multiple national invention and utility model patents and has become a skill leader in the company.
Leading the industry is like crossing a river by feeling the stones. With a determination to delve deeply, Feng Enzhong led his team to operate and refine tirelessly, ultimately completing the production line acceleration project for related products, winning the Fourth Jiangsu Province Top Ten Technological Innovation Achievements Award. As the primary contributor, Feng Enzhong represented the province’s workers in advocating for innovation.
Technical expert Wang Yuanpeng from the 70s
Innovative pioneer
“As a Communist Party member, I must be the first to take the lead and always play a pioneering role in learning and work.” Wang Yuanpeng has been engaged in SMT production for over 20 years, with rich practical experience and expertise in SMT production processes and equipment maintenance. Through small innovations, creations, and improvements, he continuously enhances skills and contributes to the quality and efficiency of the enterprise.
In his work, Wang Yuanpeng actively responds to the “Three Improvements” activities organized by the unit, leading his team to continuously research and innovate, completing many equipment improvements for the company. “The company currently has 14 Panasonic NPM placement lines, totaling 56 placement machines, and the camera lighting board failure has always troubled technicians. In response, my team and I designed, produced, and assembled the lighting board, saving about 2 hours of production line downtime and perfectly solving this problem,” Wang Yuanpeng said.
With the implementation of various small projects yielding results, Wang Yuanpeng greatly enjoys the joy of labor creation. Upholding the courage to tackle difficulties and the belief in innovation, Wang Yuanpeng led his team to optimize the layout of the SMT production line, significantly improving production efficiency and reducing waste of human resources.
Technical expert Ge Qing from the 80s
Building craftsmanship with original intention
“Choose one thing and dedicate a lifetime to it; do not exchange craftsmanship for prosperity.” is the life motto of Ge Qing, a technical expert from the 80s.
There is a pursuit that seems ordinary and small, yet can achieve extraordinary results. Facing the rapid updates of electronic products and the constant emergence of repair challenges, Ge Qing firmly believes that “there are always more solutions than difficulties.” “In 2021, the company undertook the mainboard business for a certain model of spacecraft cabin display. This model is used for aircraft cabin display boards, which have high requirements and are difficult to repair,” Ge Qing recalled. In the absence of prior experience with similar products, Ge Qing successfully completed the repair by consulting a large amount of information and conducting repeated experiments.
For twenty years, from the initial equipment operation to the assembly, debugging, and repair of electronic products, from the initial assembly of analog TVs to the maintenance of digital TVs, from optimizing LCD display circuits to troubleshooting complex issues in super notebooks, and now to repairing automotive electronic products, Ge Qing has dedicated his youth to the repair industry, combining practical work with learning.
Technical expert Liang Jiangfei from the 90s
Continuing to strive forward
“There are no shortcuts in technology; only strive for excellence; do not ask when the struggle will end; just seize the day.” Born in 1992, Liang Jiangfei has worked as an ordinary technician and hardware designer, experiencing days of designing circuit boards during the day and debugging boards at night, his story is filled with “hardcore” and “responsibility.”
As a primary contributor, Liang Jiangfei has led major key projects such as domestic embedded terminals, ODM projects for important clients like Bosch, and self-developed projects for national industrial gateways; he has presided over the construction of a fully domestic ecosystem, achieving the research and mass production of domestic industrial gateways, core boards, PLC controllers, and robot controllers, which have been effectively applied in industries such as power, civil defense, AGV, and robotics; the NF2.0, EL11, TL4, DLR2.0, and embedded water dispenser projects he developed have all successfully won bids, with the total bid amount for NF2.0 exceeding 100 million yuan, and some projects have already achieved mass production.
In addition, he has led the team to develop 5 domestic core boards, 6 controllers, 1 fully domestic industrial gateway, and 1 sensor, successfully solving key technical issues and achieving small batch shipments. “Liang Jiangfei’s desk is always piled with circuit boards and design drawings, and the simulation data flashing on his computer screen is his most familiar ‘comrade’.” This is how his colleagues describe him.
