Embedded Application Designer
Embedded Application Designer refers to professional technical personnel engaged in the development, debugging, optimization, and maintenance of embedded system hardware and software platforms. This position focuses on specialized device control, smart terminals, IoT devices, industrial automation, and serves as a critical technical bridge connecting hardware and high-level applications. Embedded systems are characterized by low power consumption, small size, and high real-time performance, and are widely used in industries such as smart manufacturing, automotive systems, medical devices, and consumer electronics.

Embedded Application Designer | Core Responsibilities

1️⃣ System Architecture Design

Analyze functional requirements and select appropriate embedded hardware platforms (such as ARM Cortex-M, Cortex-A, RISC-V, etc.)

Build a hardware-software collaborative system architecture (bare metal, RTOS, Linux systems, etc.)
2️⃣ Embedded Software Development

Develop embedded firmware programs using C/C++ programming languages

Write drivers (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, PWM, etc.)

Integrate file systems, network protocol stacks, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/LoRa communication modules
3️⃣ System Debugging and Testing

Use tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG emulators for debugging

Resolve system anomalies, memory overflows, deadlocks, and timing issues

Conduct software version management and iteration
4️⃣ Hardware Collaborative Development

Read schematics and understand hardware architecture

Collaborate with hardware engineers to complete interface debugging and system integration

Develop Bootloader and BSP (Board Support Package)

Perform performance optimization (boot speed, power management, resource usage)

Embedded Application Designer | Core Skills
