LG has launched a curved OLED 8K television and an automatic display, which features an incredibly thin screen measuring only 0.18 millimeters, and can be rolled up like a poster.

The OLED display measures 18 inches and is supported by a black base, allowing it to be rolled up for storage.

The display resembles a very thin plastic poster that can be bent and rolled up.

Of course, nothing can be displayed on the mirror-like surface, and achieving wireless charging, input signals, and other functionalities will take a few more years.

LG stated that the next step is to increase the screen size to a resolution of 810*1200, but due to the OLED technology, the image quality remains very high.

Why a rollable display?

One obvious use case is portability.

A representative from LG demonstrated how to roll up the television, pack it into a bag, and take it away.
