Let’s welcome the LattePanda Alpha 864s equipped with the Intel 8th generation M3-8100Y processor!

The LattePanda Alpha series is the flagship series of LattePanda, with very powerful performance. The processor chip M3-8100Y can boost up to 3.4GHz and in Geekbench tests, it significantly surpasses mainstream PC hardware platforms like the New MacBook and Lenovo C50.

In terms of operating systems, it supports both Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux. The manufacturer offers two versions, one being the more expensive version bundled with Windows 10 PRO activation, and the other being a cheaper version without activation (users can buy Win10 activation on Taobao or install the free Ubuntu).

For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.2 (can connect multiple IoT devices at the same time), 802.11AC WIFI (dual-band 2.4G+5G, faster than 802.11n), and Gigabit Ethernet (supports Wake-on-LAN).

In terms of video decoding, it supports 4K 60fps decoding. It supports three types of display outputs (HDMI output, USB Type-C DP output, and eDP output), and the eDP interface supports touchscreens. It has three USB 3.0 ports, one PCIe X2 port, and one PCIe X4 port.

The manufacturer offers a 7-inch eDP touchscreen with a resolution of 1024×600 as an accessory, which needs to be purchased separately, but it is worth it. The screen is an IPS display with vibrant colors; the screen latency is low, less than 16ms.

If you don’t purchase the screen mentioned above, it’s actually not a big deal. Because the LattePanda Alpha 864s can also connect to a Mac or Linux computer via a streaming cable like a USB device, allowing for seamless interaction.

When the LattePanda Alpha 864s is connected via the streaming cable, you can even display the Windows desktop on a MacBook and run Windows-exclusive software like Visual Studio (the desktop actually runs on the LattePanda and streams the video to the MacBook in real-time).

If you need a protective case, the manufacturer offers a Titan Case that is beautifully designed, incorporating sci-fi style elements. As an original case, the cutouts are precise, leaving room for commonly used interfaces.
