• The In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system is a comprehensive information processing system for vehicles that uses a dedicated in-vehicle central processor, based on the vehicle bus system and internet services. It includes in-vehicle information systems and entertainment systems, with functions mainly divided into navigation and positioning, vehicle services, multimedia, communication and social, and life services. It is an important component of cabin electronics;

• With the development of automotive intelligence and connectivity, the IVI system is evolving towards multifunctional integration, multi-screen interactive fusion (one core, multiple screens, multiple systems), and diverse human-computer interaction, which is also increasing the value of individual vehicles;

• The key technologies of the IVI system mainly include hardware layers (chips, displays, etc.) and software layers (operating systems, applications, etc.). Among them, high computing power, miniaturization, and low power consumption of cabin chips are the future development directions; LCD displays are currently the mainstream development direction, while OLED displays are gradually being applied; on the software side, most OEMs are developing their own vehicle systems based on the underlying operating system while choosing to cooperate with BATH to enrich the application ecosystem;

• In terms of related configuration functions, the penetration rates of central control LCD screens and voice control are relatively high, with penetration rates exceeding 90% and 70% respectively in new vehicles in the first half of this year. However, due to technical and cost issues, the penetration rates of gesture control and facial recognition functions are relatively low, only in single digits, but among the equipped models, domestic brands dominate;

• The current competitive landscape of the IVI system is relatively fragmented. In the global market, major international component giants and automotive electronics manufacturers occupy the main market share; in the domestic market, local enterprises are accelerating their penetration from the aftermarket to the original equipment market based on cost-effectiveness and flexibility, with Desay SV leading the domestic market share;
