On May 20, in the high-standard cleanroom of the LCD module production workshop at the Huade Electronics Company in the Southern Economic Development Zone of Tangshan, employees were busy at work. “The first order of 750,000 LCD modules in Tangshan has completed half of the total task volume in less than a month of production,” said Lin Kaicheng, the chairman of the company, excitedly to reporters.
The project of Huade Electronics Company in Tangshan, with a total planned investment of 450 million yuan and a standardized factory area of over 20,000 square meters, is focused on building a “Photoelectric and New Generation Electronic Information Technology Industrial Base.” This project includes three main areas: a high-standard cleanroom workshop, a product exhibition hall, and a research and development center, aimed at the research and manufacturing of LCD displays, touch screen modules, electronic components, and optical bonding products. The company has purchased several domestic first-class cutting machines, cleaning lines, and LCD display module assembly production lines. “We aim to make the ‘Photoelectric and New Generation Electronic Information Technology Industrial Base’ the largest electronic component export base in North China,” Lin Kaicheng expressed confidence in the favorable investment and business environment of the Southern Economic Development Zone.
In August 2023, the successful establishment of the “Photoelectric and New Generation Electronic Information Technology Industrial Base” project by Huade Electronics Company in Tangshan, funded by Hong Kong Huade Electronics Company, has attracted upstream industries such as Hong Kong Shuo Cheng and Xin Hua New Materials (Shenzhen) to follow suit, forming an initial scale of the electronic information technology industry chain. “The development goal of creating a ‘demonstration area for the integrated development of industry and city’ and the prominent advantages of location, strategic space, beautiful ecological environment, complete living facilities, comprehensive industrial support, well-developed infrastructure, rich resource carriers, and first-class business environment have made me resolutely choose the Southern Economic Development Zone of Tangshan,” Lin Kaicheng stated.
With strong technical capabilities and senior engineers in the LCM industry, Tangshan Huade Electronics Company has introduced eight domestic first-class production lines for LCD display module assembly, including cutting machines, cleaning lines, COG, ACF, FOG, and SMT, with an annual production capacity of 50 million optical modules. While steadily developing the domestic market, the company is also actively exploring international markets, with products exported to countries such as Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia.
As of now, the production equipment on the first floor of buildings 3 and 4 of the “Photoelectric and New Generation Electronic Information Technology Industrial Base” project of Tangshan Huade Electronics Company has been operating normally. The second floor is designated for cleaning, cutting, chip mounting, and backlight production workshops. The third floor is designed for aging rooms, Bluetooth, wearables, and assembly workshops, while the fourth floor is designated as a warehouse, all of which have been completed. The next step for the company is to gradually transfer the technology research and development and import-export trade business of Shenzhen Haifei Company to Tangshan. “‘Technological leadership, quality first, and customer foremost’ is Huade Electronics’ unremitting pursuit.
