Hyundai Motor Group is actively introducing Ansible Motion’s VR driving simulator to enhance its research and development capabilities. With the help of VR technology, Hyundai aims to reduce R&D costs and improve the competitiveness of future vehicles in the market.
Reportedly, Ansible Motion’s VR driving simulator can accurately replicate real driving environments in a virtual space, allowing users to feel as if they are on actual roads. The simulator can also create diverse driving scenarios, easily simulating congested urban areas, highways, or rugged mountain roads.

In terms of vehicle performance testing, this simulator can comprehensively test key indicators such as vehicle acceleration, steering response, and braking force. It can also set unpredictable variables like collision scenarios as test cases and predict potential damage values, providing strong support for vehicle safety development.
For Hyundai Motor Group, adopting this VR driving simulator can significantly reduce the time and cost of vehicle road testing. In the past, obtaining accurate test data required extensive repetitive trials, which were not only time-consuming but also costly in terms of prototype production and driving assessments. Now, with the help of this simulator, Hyundai can minimize these processes, allowing more resources to be allocated to other R&D efforts.
