According to industry insiders, Huawei plans to release the new model “Nova 9” in the second quarter, and the chip used will still be the Kirin processor “Kirin 990E”, rather than the Kirin 985 used in the current Nova 8 series.

The Huawei Nova 9 is equipped with the Kirin 990E processor, while the Huawei Nova 9 Pro will be equipped with the Kirin 990 processor.

The Kirin 990 is built using the 7nm Plus EVU process technology. It features 1*Cortex-A76 at 2.86GHz, 2*Cortex-A76 at 2.09GHz, and 4*Cortex-A55 at 1.86GHz, with a GPU model of Mali-G76.
