Common Symbols for Potentiometers
The resistance of a potentiometer, also known as its nominal value, refers to the resistance between its two fixed ends. The common symbols for potentiometers are shown in Figure 3.
Switch Potentiometer Symbol
1. Enter the main interface of Multisim and directly select the icon button.
2. Next, click on BASIC_VIRTUAL.
3. You will find POTENTIOMETER, select it to proceed.
4. At this point, click on the corresponding resistance value based on your actual situation.
5. If everything is fine, confirm your selection.
6. Once you have the relevant components, you can draw the switch potentiometer symbol.
