The Genshin Impact 5.7 banner has been officially announced. Travelers who want to pull for Skirk and Fire God Mavica can stock up on Primogems in advance. During the preview livestream for version 5.7, the official also released information regarding version 6.0’s Nordkale, so let’s take a look at the upcoming banner characters and other news!
First, let’s talk about the character lineup for the 5.8 banner. According to the latest news, the new five-star girl in 5.8 is positioned as an Electro support character, which is almost certain, especially considering the bosses in the 5.8 Abyss require Electro. The three returning characters, Chaskah and Marani, are likely to return, and there is a high possibility for a character not yet confirmed, but it could be Citalia. The previously mentioned 6.0 Lantern Bearer is also highly likely to be an Electro DPS.
Regarding the character lineup for version 6.0’s Nordkale, based on the gathered rumors, the first half of the 6.0 banner will feature an Electro male DPS, while the second half will introduce the Geo female character, which is the previously mentioned Fairy Priestess. The first half of the 6.1 banner will feature a Fire female character, which can be understood as Fire Akephi, while the first half of 6.2 will introduce a Fire male character, positioned as a Vaporize DPS. The first half of the 6.3 banner will feature a Hydro female character, the top recommended character of the version, while the second half will introduce a Wind female character, forming a Wind Bloom team.
Looking at it this way, in the 6.0-6.3 banners, there will be two male five-star characters and four female characters. The 6.0 banner features the Lantern Bearer, while 6.2 is likely to be Dulin as a Vaporize DPS, and the 6.3 Hydro female character refers to the girl, who is said to have a significant identity, so there is something to look forward to. It seems that Falga will at least be available in 6.4 and beyond, but as always, the version span is large, and there is always the possibility of changes, so travelers should watch rationally!
