But when you paste it, you don’t know how to open it? Either it fails to redirect, or it prompts “Cannot recognize”… Today, I will teach you how to easily open these command links using both the regular and the Lite versions of Douyin!
1. Regular Douyin Operation Method
1. Copy the command: First, long press to select the string of text (including the http link) in the WeChat group, and click the “Copy” button that pops up.
2. Open Douyin: Return to your phone’s home screen and click the Douyin icon (the music icon with a red background).
3. Automatic pop-up: If Douyin recognizes the command, a banner will automatically pop up at the top of the page saying “Link copied, click to open”—just click it!
4. Manual trigger: If no pop-up appears, click the search box at the top of Douyin (the magnifying glass icon), long press in the search box and select “Paste”, then click “Search” to open it.
· If it prompts “Invalid link”, please check if you have copied the entire string of text (including http and emoji).
· If Douyin does not pop up, please check if Douyin is updated to the latest version (Settings → About Douyin → Check for updates).
2. Douyin Lite Operation Method
1. Copy the command: The method is the same as above, first copy the entire string of text from the WeChat group.
2. Open Douyin Lite: Find the Douyin Lite icon (red background but with the words “Lite”).
3. Wait for the pop-up: The Lite version usually also automatically pops up a banner, just click it to redirect.
4. Manual operation: If there is no pop-up, click the “Messages” (dialog box icon) in the bottom navigation bar → click “Find Friends” → paste the command in the top search box and search.
· The Lite and regular versions of Douyin are independent apps, and commands do not interchange; you need to use the corresponding version to open them.
· If the Lite version cannot paste, please restart the app or check if you have granted “Clipboard read permission” (Phone Settings → App Management → Douyin Lite → Permission Management).
3. General Backup Method (Applicable to All Versions)
If the above methods fail, you can try this:
1. After copying the command, open Douyin or Douyin Lite;
2. Directly click the “Scan” icon at the top of the app (camera shape);
