Abstract:
The core of the unmanned boat is its integrated measurement and control device for information collection and equipment control. Its functionality and performance directly affect the stability and intelligence of the unmanned boat. The designed unmanned boat measurement and control device is based on the high-performance ARM Cortex-M4 core STM32F407ZET6 microcontroller, which expands peripheral interface circuits to achieve efficient integration of various sensor communication devices; it uses the ?滋C/OS-II real-time operating system as the embedded software platform, efficiently completing data collection, information interaction, data storage, motor control, autonomous navigation, status monitoring, and other tasks. Tests have shown that the device communicates with the shore-based upper computer system through wireless transmission equipment, effectively completing various tasks such as information collection, processing, motion control, and data interaction during the unmanned boat’s navigation process, having broad application value in the field of unmanned surface vehicles.
Introduction:
The unmanned boat, as an unmanned water platform, can expand existing combat capabilities in military applications. Intelligent unmanned boats with reconnaissance and strike capabilities can quickly compensate for deficiencies in asymmetric combat systems at a lower cost, which is of great significance for enhancing naval combat capabilities[1-3]. In civilian applications, unmanned boats have important application value in patrolling, monitoring, disaster warning, and rescue in complex and dangerous marine conditions such as oceans and large lakes. With the development of unmanned intelligent navigation technology, intelligent unmanned boats that can navigate in different environments above and below the water surface have become a mainstream development trend. The smoothness of communication links, accuracy of navigation positioning, and correctness of control commands are fundamental conditions for the navigation safety of unmanned boats, both above and below the water surface[4-6]. Therefore, the functionality and performance of the integrated measurement and control device of unmanned boats are one of the most important indicators for assessing the intelligence level of unmanned boats.
Currently, the measurement and control devices for small unmanned vehicles are predominantly developed and improved by foreign companies such as Hydroid or Bluefin Robotics, resulting in a technological monopoly. Based on the current technologies and products available in China, dedicated measurement and control devices for unmanned vehicles are still in the early stages, and the application fields and technological levels of these products are not yet mature, leaving a significant gap with actual military and civilian needs, presenting considerable development space.
This article designs an unmanned boat measurement and control device based on the STM32 microcontroller, which can achieve various information collection, processing, motion control, and data sharing during the unmanned boat’s navigation process. Tests show that the device is multifunctional, highly stable, and intelligent, having broad application value in the field of unmanned surface vehicles.
