In 2022, smart connected vehicles entered a critical development phase. With the enhancement of autonomous driving levels, the Internet of Vehicles has become an important trend in the development of the smart connected vehicle industry. National ministries and commissions have successively released top-level planning, construction guidelines, standards, and other series of policies to encourage the development of the Internet of Vehicles industry and accelerate the implementation of the industry. Many local governments are planning and building smart connected vehicle demonstration zones to accelerate the deep integration of regional Internet of Vehicles with information communication and smart transportation. The four national pilot zones continue to deepen their efforts in the Internet of Vehicles industry, constantly deploying and improving intelligent road network facilities such as roadside communication units and edge computing devices, expanding the mileage and testing range of open test roads, and exploring vehicle-road collaborative business models.
