Following the SOC 2 Type 1 certification, Bytebase has successfully obtained the SOC 2 Type 2 certification 🥳

🚀 New Features

  • Added basic support for Trino database.

🔔 Major Changes

  • API Changes:

    • Removed EnvironmentService. Environment settings have been moved to SettingService. Removed custom role permissions for bb.environments.* permissions. You can grant custom roles the bb.settings.update permission to update environment settings.

    • Removed predefined groupValue enumeration values, only allowing role.

  • Decommissioned the exception center. The database list/details page will directly display schema drift.

🎄 Improvements

  • Updated the Docker base image to Alpine for improved security.

  • Support for filtering ticket tasks by status in the UI when there are 11 or more databases in the ticket.

  • Added support for EXPLAIN in MSSQL.

  • Supported more read-only commands in the SQL editor for Redis.

  • Improved column auto-completion in the FROM clause of MSSQL.

  • Fixed the infinite date display issue in PostgreSQL.

  • Hidden dependent objects in the SQL editor.

  • Removed FILTER_PREDICATES from Oracle’s EXPLAIN query.
