On May 29, 2025, Boyu Shenhang collaborated with the Hong Kong MTR Corporation to conduct robot inspection tests at the under-construction site of the North Kwu Tung subway station in Hong Kong. Despite the adverse weather conditions in Hong Kong that day, with a yellow rainstorm warning in effect, the testing team proceeded as planned, evaluating the robot’s performance in extreme weather, including its passability, waterproofing, slip resistance, and obstacle-crossing capabilities. They successfully obtained first-hand extreme test data, which is of significant value for assessing the robot’s reliability in complex environments.
The application of robot intelligent inspection technology will help improve the safety and efficiency of subway construction, reducing the risks associated with manual inspections, and this test lays the foundation for the subsequent promotion of this technology at more MTR stations.
Boyu Shenhang stated that it will continue to work closely with MTR to further optimize robot inspection technology, making it better suited to the inspection environment requirements of Hong Kong subway construction sites, and jointly promote the intelligent development of subway construction.
