Specific Use Case Sharing
SMD Shanghai Company uses eX707 industrial control screen and associated JMobile Studio software to achieve data communication and control of ship equipment, ensuring the deployment of deck equipment and the underwater process of the robot.

For convenience in on-site operations, the eX707 is installed in the control cabinet next to the equipment, and its main function is to control the entire deck equipment, ensuring the safe implementation of the underwater remote-controlled robot from deck deployment to the sea surface and the underwater process, that is, to control the entire deployment and recovery system.
In the control cabinet, the joystick, buttons, and other components are connected to the PLC, directly sending control commands to the equipment body. The industrial control screen communicates with the PLC via Ethernet, ensuring that some command functions can be realized through soft buttons in the HMI configuration interface. By setting tags in JMobile Studio, the HMI alarm interface and indicator lights can display the operation, alarm, and other statuses of the equipment, facilitating staff to grasp the equipment status.
