The LED integrated machine, a new category that has emerged in the LED display industry in recent years, is currently applied in various scenarios such as meetings, education, exhibitions, and control rooms. According to the “Small Pitch LED Market Analysis Report” released by Runto Technology (RUNTO), in 2023, the shipment scale of LED integrated machines in mainland China exceeded 5,000 units.
In terms of application fields, the government and enterprise applications account for the largest proportion, at 64%; business applications are close to 26%, used for meetings, exhibitions, hotel banquets, digital exhibitions, and so on; educational applications have reached 7%; others, including medical training and remote control, account for 3%.

Government and Business: Mainly for Meeting and Exhibition Applications, Especially in Retrofitting and Mobile Scenarios
The application of LED integrated machines in the government and business sectors has similarities, mainly in meeting scenarios, used in auditoriums, multifunctional halls, hotel banquet halls, and media studios. Additionally, they are used for exhibition functions in government affairs, enterprises, and meetings.
In fact, there are several solutions available for meetings and exhibitions in the government and business sectors, such as LED integrated machines, LED splicing, LCD splicing, ultra-large LCD displays, and projectors.

In comparison with the above display technologies, LED display products have certain advantages: 1. The physical seams of LCD splicing screens are relatively large, affecting the viewing experience, and their main competition with LED displays is in the monitoring field. 2. Ultra-large LCD displays are limited in size, with the maximum size not exceeding 120 inches, while LED displays can be spliced according to demand. Currently, the competition in meeting scenarios between the two is not significant; LED displays are mainly used in super-large and large conference rooms, while ultra-large LCD displays are mainly used in medium and small conference rooms. 3. Although projector sizes can also be spliced according to demand, their lifespan is shorter, while LED displays can last up to 100,000 hours; comparatively, the competition between projectors and LED displays in meeting scenarios is more direct and sufficient.
When choosing product solutions in the government and business markets, the most important factor is whether the product functions meet the needs. The applications of LED integrated machines are similar to those of small pitch LED splicing displays (fixed installation), and due to their suitability for retrofitting, mobility, and ease of installation and maintenance, more and more users in the government and business markets are beginning to choose LED integrated machines for meetings and exhibitions.
The current disadvantage of LED integrated machines lies in their pricing. Although the price of a 135-inch LED integrated machine with P1.56 has fallen below 100,000 yuan, there is still a significant cost gap compared to other technologies. Therefore, the breakthrough path for LED integrated machines lies in achieving a higher “cost-performance ratio” balance.
Education: Mainly for Teaching and Presentation Scenarios, Wide-Screen Products Emerging Accordingly
The popularity of LED integrated machines in the education market is expanding, mainly applied in lecture halls, tiered classrooms, and training rooms in colleges and training institutions for teaching and presentation scenarios.
Companies are competing to enter the education field mainly due to two factors: one is policy guidance, and the other is seeking new growth markets. From a policy perspective, the trend towards larger display products in the education market is clear. The Ministry of Education’s standard for “Interactive Electronic Whiteboards” clearly states that classrooms larger than 70 square meters (for more than 50 people) must be equipped with display devices of at least 100 inches. Secondly, the characteristics of small pitch LED displays and LED integrated machines are consistent in the education market, with similar pitch distribution structures, and the procurement model is similar to that of government and enterprises, making it an important direction for companies seeking new growth.

From the layout of LED companies in integrated machines, the size range covers from 108 to 220 inches. The 131-140 inch range accounts for the largest shipment share, reaching as high as 47%; 141-170 inches and 100-130 inches account for 28% and 20%, respectively.

Among them, 108/110 inches, 135/136/138 inches, and 165 inches are the main focal points, which are also the sizes with advantages in the education market. To meet the teaching environment in classrooms, companies have also successively launched wide-screen products with 32:9 and 21:9 aspect ratios.
Overall, LED integrated machine products have been developing in the market for 5 years.
