1934 – Walter L. Ankli foundedAismalibar.
1958 – We began producing copper-clad laminates for printed circuit boards.
1965 – We established a copper laminate factory to produceXPC,FR2 andFR4.
1995 – Development of CEM-3 copper-clad laminates.
2000 –Development of the IMS COBRITHERM series of insulated metal substrates.
2006 – The first lead-free copper-clad laminate CE-M-1.
2011 –Aismalibar became part of the Benmayor Group.
2023 – A new Aismalibar factory was established in China.
Since 2009 all of our insulated metal substrates (IMS) have been certified byISO/TS 16949: 2009 and we have also obtained UL certification for the entireAismalibar product range.Our products are used in automotive, railways, aviation, industrial automation, power electronics, lighting, LED and other industries.
