Today, let’s talk about some lesser-known brands. This is purely an educational post. The title suggests brands that are not mainstream, with the term “non-mainstream” in quotes. Some of these brands have indeed become obscure, while others are truly not non-mainstream. Let’s list them out.

First is Elite Motherboards. When we think of motherboards, we usually think of ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and slightly lesser-known brands like Colorful, Maxsun, etc. Very few people think of Elite anymore. However, Elite was quite impressive in the past, with a market share that was not inferior to any other brand, at least before 2010. After that, Elite mainly focused on OEM and ODM, producing for brands like Lenovo, Acer, HP, and many others. Additionally, brands like Colorful also have their motherboards manufactured or partially manufactured by Elite. Therefore, we can no longer see Elite motherboards in the consumer market. Also, just to clarify, Elite is not to be confused with another brand called Jingying.

Another brand is EVGA, which a friend shared an image of.

This is the brand. You may not have come across EVGA much. It is not a non-mainstream brand; it’s actually a top-tier international brand.

If we search for it on various platforms, we will find that their products are indeed quite good. They only produce for the mid to high-end market. The recognition of their brand in our country’s market is not very high. Those who know it are aware that it is expensive, and those who don’t won’t buy it. Enthusiasts often choose these high-end graphics cards for reviews. So next time you encounter it, don’t call it a non-mainstream brand. This is also the purpose of this post.

Another brand is PNY, which is absolutely unbeatable in the professional card domain of NVIDIA. However, this graphics card is also not commonly bought in the consumer market. If we search for PNY graphics card prices, everyone will understand.

Such “non-mainstream” brands are not something an average person can afford. Regular consumers wouldn’t buy a 48GB graphics card just for casual gaming.

Another brand mentioned by a friend is Hantouch. Hantouch graphics cards are seen less frequently, but everyone should know about Dilan, which is also an A-card brand. Hantouch has collaborated with Dilan for 20 years. The product lines of these two brands are basically overlapping. However, the two brands have recently parted ways. In the future, we might see more Hantouch graphics cards in the domestic market.

Lastly, another brand similar to Hantouch is ChaoTu. We rarely see ChaoTu graphics cards, but everyone should know about Inno3D. These two brands actually come from the same production line. You could say they are two products from the same company. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information on this brand online.
