On April 26, the 2025 Anhui Province Robot Competition Microcontroller and Embedded Systems Track Preliminary Round was successfully held at the Quanshan Campus of Huainan Normal University. This event was organized by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education, hosted by Hefei University of Technology and Huainan Normal University, and co-organized by the Anhui Higher Education Computer Education Research Association, with technical support from Anhui Mangke Education Technology Co., Ltd. Over 650 teams from 51 universities in the province, including Hefei University of Technology, Anhui University of Science and Technology, and Anhui University of Technology, participated in the preliminary round. Professor Gao Xianhe, the chairman of the technical committee for the microcontroller and embedded systems track of the Anhui Province Robot Competition, and Yang Xingming, the deputy secretary-general of the organizing committee and executive secretary of the research association from Hefei University of Technology, were present to provide guidance.

The Anhui Province Robot Competition Microcontroller and Embedded Systems Track competition is classified as a Category B event in the province’s subject and skill competitions. This preliminary round was conducted through a combination of “online demonstration + offline evaluation,” ensuring a wide reach and low-cost participation as emphasized by the leaders of the education department. Each participating school set up sub-venues and organized competitions according to the requirements of the “Competition Regulations.” The organizing committee and expert group provided remote guidance, supervision, and evaluation from Huainan Normal University.
Huainan Normal University places great importance on organizing this event. Chen Xiu, a member of the university’s party committee and vice president, emphasized that hosting such large-scale provincial events is both an opportunity and a challenge. The university must implement all tasks to high standards as required by the organizing committee to ensure the smooth progress of the competition. A working group composed of the Academic Affairs Office, Publicity Department, Asset and Laboratory Management Office, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and School of Computer Science was established to handle the organization of the competition.
The Anhui Province Robot Competition Organizing Committee fully recognized Huainan Normal University’s preparations for the event and hopes to further promote inter-school exchanges through the competition, effectively enhancing learning, teaching, and research through competition, deepening the reform of education and teaching in new engineering disciplines, promoting the development of robotics-related technologies, and fostering interdisciplinary integration to cultivate more outstanding talents in the field of robotics.
According to the competition schedule, the final competition will be held on May 24-25 at Huainan Normal University.
