Recently, the “Hikvision Health Service Station” located in the Xixing Internet of Things Town officially opened. This is the first embedded health service station in Zhejiang Province. Come and take a look with Xiaoxi!

Upon entering the health service station, directly opposite is the service desk for patients to inquire and collect medication. Currently, it is equipped with over 200 types of medicines to meet daily medication needs. On the right side are two smart medical multifunctional self-service machines, which can complete registration and payment using citizen cards and electronic medical insurance certificates, all of which can use medical insurance. On the left side is a resting area, with eye-catching yellow-green sofas. Looking up, you can see the promotional board of the health service station, which also offers services such as family doctor contracts, health record management, and health education.

This health service station was transformed from an existing building by Hikvision, adopting a cooperative model where the enterprise provides the venue and the community health service center provides services. It is staffed with 2 doctors and 1 nurse (1 general practitioner, 1 traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, and 1 general nurse) and equipped with basic medical equipment and medicines, as well as a smart cloud consultation room and cloud pharmacy, dedicated to providing “24-hour uninterrupted health services” for young employees.
The establishment of this health service station bridges the “last mile” of corporate health services. The station utilizes existing buildings of the enterprise and adopts a cooperative model where the enterprise provides the venue and the community health service center provides services. The station aims to effectively serve corporate employees, meet the needs of enterprises to retain talent, and create a favorable business environment.
Addressing the Time Lag for Medical Services for Floating Population

The Internet of Things Town is home to many high-tech enterprises, and the employees tend to be younger with a fast-paced work rhythm, leading to an increasing demand for medical and health services. The working hours overlap with the opening hours of nearby community health service stations, making it difficult to effectively meet the medical and health service needs of the park and enterprise employees.
Upon identifying this demand, a health service station was introduced in the second phase of the Hikvision park, extending traditional community health services to high-tech enterprises and bridging the “last mile” of corporate health services.
Based on the characteristics of the young population, this service station provides a range of health services including general medical care, suitable techniques in traditional Chinese medicine, family doctor contracts, health record management, health education, and appointment referrals.
“My working hours coincide with the hospital’s, but now there is a health service station in the lobby on the first floor, making it much more convenient to seek treatment,” said Xiaozheng, a young employee of Hikvision.
With the ability to swipe medical insurance cards, free registration, affordable medication, and even physical therapy for shoulder pain… During the trial operation phase, this health service station has received widespread recognition from Hikvision employees.
Providing “24-Hour Uninterrupted” Service

In addition to regular diagnosis and treatment, the health service station has also held multiple free clinics during the trial operation phase, inviting experts from the Third Hospital of the City and other institutions. The consultation desks for dermatology, skin surgery, and laser beauty departments have been the most popular.
“We are currently in a phase of active adjustment, and we have adopted a work schedule that aligns with Hikvision employees, opening at 9 AM and closing at 6 PM,” said Fu Guocheng, the head of the Hikvision Health Service Station. “Some Hikvision employees need to coordinate with overseas departments, so their working hours may be concentrated in the evening, but that’s okay; we have also prepared a ‘cloud consultation room.'”
The “cloud consultation room” referred to by Fu Guocheng is an intelligent machine set up at the entrance of the health service station. It is called a “remote medical self-service micro consultation room”. Following the instructions, users can dial into the Xixing Street Community Health Service Center. “The emergency room in Xixing Street is on duty 24 hours a day, so if the medical staff at the health service station are off duty, Hikvision employees can connect with the on-duty doctor via video through the machine to address basic consultation and medication needs.”
Next to the “cloud consultation room,” there is also a medicine vending cabinet known as the “cloud pharmacy.” It has cabinets for prescription and non-prescription medicines, providing some commonly used medications for employees after consultation. A reporter scrolling through the medicine catalog found that a box of montmorillonite powder costs just over 3 yuan, and a box of painkillers costs over 5 yuan, which is significantly cheaper than chain pharmacies.
In this way, Hikvision employees can enjoy “24-hour uninterrupted” medical services without leaving the enterprise.
Embedded Health Service Station in Corporate Parks

Currently, most of the patients visiting this health service station are employees from the second and third phases of the Hikvision park. “In our vision, an embedded health service station can serve multiple surrounding enterprises,” said Bu Zheng, deputy director of the Health and Health Bureau of Hangzhou High-tech Zone (Binjiang).
Taking the Internet of Things Industrial Park where Hikvision is located as an example, over 4,300 technology-based enterprises are gathered on a land area of 3.66 square kilometers, including 19 listed companies. With such a large young talent pool, there is naturally a demand for medical services. With the embedded health service station, simple ailments like headaches and colds can be resolved without leaving the enterprise.
The service station not only serves Hikvision employees but also extends to their families, covering a very broad group.
In the next step, Xixing Street will continue to collaborate with multiple departments to enhance grassroots medical and health institutions, improve health service capabilities, create a high-quality business environment, and continuously push for the sinking of quality medical resources, bridging the “last mile” of health services, and becoming a “guardian” of residents’ health.
