Today is the last day of March, marking the conclusion of this series on imported junk. A fan jokingly said I wrote another filler article, but it’s not that I’m being lazy; rather, I plan to compile a collection of popular series articles to create an “Encyclopedia for Junk Enthusiasts” on my public account.

I usually write series articles to force myself to find the highest cost-effective products, and I will only pre-select a maximum of 8 models. The imported junk series is my “fame battle” series; either I don’t write it, or if I do, it must be convincing. This time, I am willing to call these 8 models the “Eight Kings”.
Toshiba D83 – The Most Cost-Effective “2-in-1” Convertible Laptop

I have written about many 2-in-1 convertible laptops, and this year I discovered the Toshiba D83. It features a 13.3-inch 1080P high-definition screen, with a common configuration of i5-8250U + 8G + 256G. Although the onboard memory cannot be upgraded, 8G is sufficient for office use. The weight with the keyboard is 1.2kg, and the tablet alone weighs over 700 grams. It comes with three USB ports, a Type-C port, and an Ethernet port. The lowest price I found is 889 yuan for the tablet alone and 1129 yuan with the original keyboard.
Toshiba S73 – The Most Cost-Effective 13.3-Inch Office Laptop

The Toshiba S73 is a standard product, but it is very affordable. It features a 13.3-inch 1080P high-definition screen, with processors ranging from 8th to 10th generation Core. Additionally, the DDR4 memory can be upgraded, and the entire machine weighs 1.2kg. In terms of price, the 8th generation i3 (i3-8310U) + 8G + 128G version starts at over 600 yuan, the 8th generation i5 (i5-8250U) + 8G + 128G starts at over 800 yuan, and the 10th generation i5 (i5-10210U) + 8G + 256G starts at 1600 yuan. The first two versions are worth purchasing, while the 10th generation Core is too expensive to consider.
NEC VKT16 – The Most Cost-Effective 14-Inch Business Laptop

If you find 13.3 inches a bit small, then the 14-inch NEC VKT16 is worth a look. It features a 14-inch 1080P high-definition screen, with a “8th and a half” generation i5-8265U processor, and a common storage configuration of 8G + 256G, but the memory can be upgraded. In terms of price, the NEC VKT16 has many versions, including at least 12.5 inches, 13.3 inches, 14 inches, and 15 inches. The corresponding model for the 14-inch version is VKT16M3G63N6, with the i5-8265U + 8G + 256G version starting at 899 yuan.
Toshiba T75 – The Most Cost-Effective 15.6-Inch 8th Generation i7 Business Laptop

I rarely pay attention to large laptops, but the Toshiba T75 is indeed very cost-effective. It features a 15.6-inch 1080P high-definition screen, and the key point is that it has an i7-8550U version processor, with a matching storage configuration of 8G + 256G. It also comes with a DVD drive and a numeric keypad, and you can replace the DVD drive with a hard drive expansion box. In terms of price, the 8th generation i7 + 8G + 256G starts at 1071 yuan, but the supply is limited.
LG Gram – The Lightest 14-Inch “Korean Laptop”

In addition to Japanese laptops, there is also a Korean laptop that made the list. The LG Gram is the only model that can match the weight of Japanese laptops. It also comes in 13.3 inches, 14 inches, 15.6 inches, and 17 inches, with the 14-inch 14Z980 being the most worth purchasing. It features an i5-8250U processor, standard 8G + 256G storage configuration, and both memory and hard drive can be upgraded. It also has an English/Korean keyboard with a long space bar, and the battery life is impressive, lasting up to 10 hours in power-saving mode. The lowest price is around 1300 yuan.
Toshiba X20W – A Convertible Laptop with Wacom Pressure-Sensitive Screen

Returning to Toshiba, a brand I previously paid little attention to, I became particularly interested after purchasing the X30/X40 this year. The Toshiba X20W is a 12.5-inch small laptop with a 1080P screen that is not only touch-sensitive for tablet use but also supports Wacom pressure sensitivity technology, allowing it to be flipped over for use as a drawing tablet. Unfortunately, the entire machine weighs 1.1kg, which is heavier than the NEC VK23TG, and the common configuration is i5-8250U + 8G + 256G. It comes with a Type-C interface, but the onboard memory cannot be upgraded, with the lowest price at 1349 yuan.
MOUSE Pro NB391 – The Cost-Performance God of Imported Junk

Lastly, we have the lesser-known “Japanese Shenzhou” MOUSE Pro NB391, which features a 13.3-inch 1080P high-definition screen, standard 8th generation i7 (i7-8550U) processor, and a common storage configuration of 8G + 256G, with the ability to upgrade both memory and SSD. The key point is that it is priced at only 899 yuan. Unfortunately, this model is too niche, and the supply is limited, currently out of stock across the internet, so I can only mark it for long-term monitoring.
Sorry for missing Sony; please refer to the article from March 23. Also, don’t ask me “which of these eight is the strongest”; all of them have been filtered out by me as top-tier models, so choose based on your personal needs. To recap the previous article “The Eight Kings of Imported Junk Laptops”, they are NEC VK23TG, Toshiba X30/X40, Fujitsu T939, VAIO VJS132, Epson NA520E, Panasonic SV7, HP C1030, and MacBook Air 2017.
Finally, the keywords for this article are: mini computer, pocket-sized, over a hundred yuan, remember to check it out!

Yesterday, another 1802 new friends followed me, and due to the recent increase of tens of thousands of new followers, I made a clear introduction image of myself.

My loyal fans know that I often joke that every article I write is the result of 20 years of effort. In 2004, I was in middle school and was already the moderator of the PSP section and trading section on the Game Bus forum. In high school, I enjoyed mingling in various forums like TOMPDA, home appliances, 51NB, 0110, PlayNB, IT168 laptop friends meeting, etc., and became a seasoned player in the TOMPDA trading section.
Later, I was specially recruited by the Game Bus, and in my first year, I established the evaluation department, responsible for reviews across the entire site, including the Android Chinese website and iPhone Chinese website, having written thousands of reviews on my own. In the past decade, as major forums declined, I became a player on Xianyu, and with my full-time self-media work, the account “Xian Gadget” was born. I am very happy to meet everyone, and you can also find the feeling of those forums in the comment section.
