Successful Defense of the IoT Engineering Major 2024 Innovation Project
On April 21, 2025, the defense of the IoT Engineering 2024 Innovation Project was successfully held in classroom J-C-301 of the School of Information Engineering. The judges included IoT faculty members Qin Qin, Yang Qingqing, Gong Qianqian, and Feng Siyu. A total of 11 projects participated in this defense, including 5 national-level projects, 5 provincial-level projects, and 1 university-level project, covering multiple cutting-edge directions and hot issues in the field of IoT engineering, showcasing the students’ solid professional knowledge and outstanding innovation capabilities.
The atmosphere at the defense site was lively, with each project team taking turns to present their reports. They detailed their project backgrounds, objectives, implementation processes, achievements, and future prospects through well-prepared PPTs, vivid explanations, and exciting demonstrations. From the development of smart home systems to the design of an intelligent shared reading platform driven by new energy, from IoT applications in smart agriculture to research on intelligent community delivery systems, each project reflected the IoT engineering students’ deep understanding of professional knowledge and keen insight into practical problems.
