Innovation drives, patents build core competitiveness
Innovation is the core driving force behind Wu Juder’s work. He has deeply engaged in technology, accumulating 20 national patent applications, including 10 invention patents. These patents are not merely theoretical; they have been directly transformed into productivity: such as the “Flexible Circuit Board Processing Fixing Device,” “Copper Plating Waste Liquid Recovery Method,” and “Improved Method for Uniformity of Copper Plating on Circuit Boards,” which address pain points in production; practical new-type patents applied to 5G high-frequency boards, such as the “Board Bending Flattening Structure,” “Copper Plating Support Frame,” and “Interference Resistant and Bendable Multi-layer FPC Board,” significantly enhance product performance and production efficiency. These core technologies support the company’s products in achieving integrated manufacturing of high-frequency multi-layer circuit boards through automatic printing, hot pressing, and spray cooling layers, greatly reducing costs and shortening processes, earning widespread market acclaim, and generating over 100 million yuan in output value, helping the company successfully obtain multiple honors such as National High-tech Enterprise, Provincial Specialized and New Enterprise, and Jiangxi Province Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmark Enterprise.
Green responsibility, solving industry pollution challenges
The circuit board industry is recognized as a heavily polluting sector, and environmental issues are a bottleneck to development. In 2019, faced with severe challenges of etching waste liquid treatment and high pure water consumption, Wu Juder took the initiative: “I will take care of this!” He led his team to work on the production front line for over 30 days, conducting repeated experiments, analyses, and improvements. In the scorching summer, his figure moving through the workshop made his colleagues both pained and respectful. Ultimately, he successfully developed resource recovery and online reuse technology, efficiently recovering and utilizing acidic/basic copper-containing etching waste liquid and tin stripping waste liquid. This not only significantly reduced the difficulty and cost of wastewater treatment (saving over 300,000 yuan in material costs annually) but also achieved tremendous environmental benefits. The company has achieved “zero environmental accidents” in the past two years, with wastewater discharge consistently meeting urban first-class standards, setting a benchmark for the industry’s green transformation, and the related technological achievements have won provincial-level employee innovation awards.
Passing on the torch, cultivating a fertile ground for innovation
As a technical leader, Wu Juder understands the importance of talent. He actively participates in Jiangxi Province’s “Master-Apprentice” program, generously sharing his knowledge, compiling 48 hours of professional training materials, and forming over 30 standardized operation documents, establishing a solid training system and foundation for cultivating technical workers in the company. Relying on the model worker innovation studio platform he leads, he gathers team strength, promoting the company to successfully obtain Pingxiang City’s High-Frequency High-Speed Printed Circuit Board Technology Innovation Center and Jiangxi Province Enterprise Technology Innovation Center, creating a strong atmosphere of innovation.
From a grassroots technician to a recipient of the Provincial May Day Labor Medal, Pingxiang City Labor Model, “Most Beautiful Technological Worker,” and part-time vice chairman of the Shangluo County Science and Technology Association, Wu Juder has always remained on the front line of scientific research and production. With the perseverance of “sitting on a bench for ten years in the cold,” he breaks through technological barriers, leading green manufacturing with the philosophy that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets,” and cultivates innovative power through “craftsmanship inheritance.” In the journey of transforming China from a “PCB powerhouse” to a “PCB strong nation,” Wu Juder is writing a brilliant chapter as a grassroots technological worker with his relentless efforts.
