[PCB Information Network] Yesterday, an industry insider revealed in a group chat that a circuit board factory in Shenzhen has closed down, and the owner has disappeared, causing an uproar in the industry.
According to the insider, the trigger for this incident was a serious quality issue with aluminum substrate products supplied to a well-known lighting company in Foshan, resulting in a compensation claim of 30 to 40 million yuan, which plunged the company into a financial crisis.
After learning about this news, our reporter attempted to contact the company for clarification, but multiple calls to the company and the responsible person’s phone went unanswered, and messages have yet to receive a response.
Businesses and suppliers are always intertwined with fortune and misfortune. Hearing this news, the factory’s suppliers inevitably felt a wave of sadness, and those who still have outstanding payments are left in tears, with the phrase “losing money” making them feel heartbroken.

According to publicly available information online, this circuit board factory was established in 1999 and is a manufacturing enterprise specializing in high-precision double-sided and multi-layer circuit boards, with a production facility area and annual production capacity performing well.

In fact, several months ago, many seasoned industry professionals and organizations predicted that a large number of small enterprises would close down in the next two years. With bad news frequently emerging, this prediction seems to be gradually coming true.
However, we also note that the government is increasingly focusing on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and private enterprises, emphasizing the need to continuously create a better development environment for the private economy, help solve the difficulties faced by private enterprises, and has proposed six policy measures: “reduce the tax burden on enterprises,” “solve the financing difficulties and high costs for private enterprises,” “create a fair competitive environment,” “improve policy implementation methods,” “build a new type of government-business relationship that is friendly and clear,” and “protect the personal and property safety of entrepreneurs.”
These policy measures are all “on point” and should effectively alleviate the various difficulties currently faced by private enterprises. Many private enterprise owners are excitedly praising the government and expressing that they “see a glimmer of hope.”
Of course, we must also recognize that regardless of how harsh the economic environment is or how policies and regulations are adjusted, quality is the foundation of a company’s survival. Ensuring product quality is the only way to have a chance of continuing to survive, no matter when, where, or under what circumstances!
Hopefully, all enterprises in the industry that are still weak but determined to fight again can continue to grow and strengthen through the storms and setbacks, successfully crossing the reshuffling period and being reborn.
