Today morning, Samsung launched a new 50MP mobile camera sensor – ISOCELL GN1, featuring a large 1/1.3 inch sensor with 1.2μm pixels, capable of interpolating to 100MP. The pixel binning also allows for 12.5MP output, with a maximum video recording capability of 8K at 30fps, set to go into mass production this month.
