Deng Huibin’s career began in industrial automation, laying a technical foundation in an era before the IoT had emerged. His six years of experience in information security have forged a profound insight into the digital world. When Wuxi raised the banner of the IoT industry, Deng pivoted, seizing the opportunity of a “green campus” to enter the field. He pointed out that the openness and intensive management needs of universities for new technologies represent the “golden battlefield” for the IoT’s implementation.
As the industry evolves, the IoT has transitioned from a conceptual craze to a period of rational development, now entering a mature phase characterized by deep integration with technologies such as AI and gradual large-scale application in various sectors. Deng Huibin has consistently remained at the forefront of the industry, leading multiple campus IoT projects. Continuous learning is the core driving force behind his professional passion. He believes that in the rapidly evolving ICT field, only by constantly updating one’s cognitive framework through reading and reflection, and transforming others’ experiences and practical knowledge into personal growth nutrients, can one avoid career burnout and lose direction in the technological storm.

He pointed out that the mission of the IoT is to build a bridge between the real and digital worlds, which requires practitioners to root themselves in actual scenarios, exploring technological paths from customer needs, and returning technology to its business essence. This pragmatic philosophy is embedded in Deng Huibin’s professional DNA, throughout Xinsilian’s product design and solution implementation cycle, continuously creating customer value in the deep waters of digital intelligence.

Xinsilian has been deeply engaged in the smart campus field for nearly eight years, using the IoT as a foundation to promote the transition of campuses from “passive connectivity” to “active decision-making”. Deng Huibin stated that we are not just connectors, but also reshapers of campus intelligence.
IoT Foundation:Xinsilian has independently developed a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) and toolchain, upgrading traditional network infrastructure into intelligent sensing and edge computing nodes, achieving seamless access and data integration of devices across the campus.

Xinsilian’s partnership with Huawei began with the Wuxi IoT project, where Xinsilian had already been deeply engaged in the digital campus field for six years, possessing rich engineering practices in the IoT and profound industry understanding. A project at a university in Xi’an marked a milestone in their collaboration, where they spent a year and a half overcoming the challenges of integrating IoT networks with campus infrastructure, achieving groundbreaking designs in multi-network integration, and establishing a technical paradigm of hardware-software separation in the industry, creating a benchmark for campus IoT.
Deng Huibin stated that Huawei solidifies the digital foundation with core technologies, while Xinsilian focuses on innovation at the application layer. They will continue to explore the integration of AI and IoT innovation, promoting the evolution of physical campuses into intelligent entities with digital brains, intent recognition, and closed-loop processes, helping campuses build a more efficient, reliable, and resilient service system.
