I have flashed many models of Inphic set-top boxes, including the “Inphic I6 with Allwinner H2+ chip”, “Inphic I7 with Allwinner H2+ chip”, “Inphic I8 with Rockchip RK3368 chip”, “Inphic M9 with Rockchip RK3128 chip”, and “Inphic I9 with Rockchip RK3368 chip”. Additionally, there has been a tutorial for the “Inphic I9 Octa-Core with Allwinner H8 chip”, and I have flashed many similar Inphic I9 Octa-Core boxes. Today, I received another Inphic I9 Octa-Core box sent by a friend from Shanxi. Although the configuration is exactly the same as the previous models, the flashing firmware is also the same, but their designs differ. I think it is necessary to document this. Furthermore, the original firmware I used was based on the Lejia desktop, but since Lejia desktop has been discontinued, I modified the desktop for this box and am now using the Dangbei 8188 desktop.
Let’s talk about the specific configuration of today’s box: The CPU chip is: Allwinner H8, 1GB RAM, 16GB EMMC storage, single Wi-Fi chip is RTL8189ETV, and the original native Android version is 4.4.2.
