FreeBSD 13.5 was released on March 10, as the final update of the FreeBSD 13 series. Users should start planning to upgrade to the current FreeBSD 14 stable series or look forward to the upcoming FreeBSD 15.0 release.
FreeBSD 13.5-RELEASE brings many minor software updates, such as updates for XZ, SQLite3, OpenSSH, and other applications. FreeBSD 13.5 also adds support for using the Purism keyboard with Coreboot, moves the support for Realtek 8156/8156B network drivers to the URE driver, and adds support for Brainboxes USB to Serial adapters. The manual page for the AGP driver has also been updated to correctly indicate its planned removal in FreeBSD 15.0.
The UFS1 file system has also resolved its Y2038 issue, microsecond precision disk latency within gstate, and various network driver updates.
