The arrival of the internet era has exposed us to many new things, and the advent of the smart age has given every item in our daily lives the wings of omnipotence.
Today, I would like to introduce a smart plug called Eve Energy.
How cool is this plug? It is a smart plug that connects via Bluetooth. You just need to plug it into any socket in your home, and you can control all your appliances through Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad. Additionally, it is compatible with Apple’s HomeKit smart home platform, allowing you to interact with other compatible devices and customize your own personalized home experience.
For example, one day when you have a few friends over, you can say to Siri, “Turn on entertainment mode,” and your home theater will start playing automatically. Or, after a long day, when you just want to sleep, you can simply say to Siri, “Turn off the lights!” and all the lights in the room will turn off automatically. It’s a must-have for lazy people!
Moreover, it has some auxiliary functions that can detect indoor temperature, outdoor weather, air quality, water and electricity usage, as well as smoke detection.
Of course, the most important function of this plug is energy saving! With it, you can monitor your household electricity usage in real-time, see which appliance consumes the most power, and ensure that you have turned off unnecessary appliances when leaving home. However, this plug is not yet available in the Chinese market, so interested friends may need to wait a bit longer.
Next, I want to introduce another type of socket, the hole-less socket. A socket without holes sounds really cool!
Actually, it doesn’t mean there are no holes at all; the surface of the socket is as smooth as paper, and if you don’t look closely, you might think there are no sockets.
In fact, the sockets are right on the surface, and if you look closely, you can see that each socket is “blocked”. Just align the plug with the outline of the socket, and it can be smoothly inserted.
The most obvious benefit of a hole-less socket, besides preventing wood chips, metal shavings, and dust from entering the socket, is that it is safe from touch and water. The inventor said, “Children are curious; when they see a small hole, they want to stick their fingers in. Many children’s hands have been ‘bitten’ by sockets before. The hole-less socket solves this problem and is very safe; children’s hands cannot reach inside.”
Water resistance is also one of its features, meeting the national level three water resistance standard. Whether it is splashed water or dripped water, it cannot enter the socket, and you can simply wipe it with a cloth to use it normally. Additionally, it is designed to prevent disconnection, with a unique mechanical clamping structure that makes it difficult for the plug to fall out after being inserted.
As a patented plug, it is also energy-efficient. The hole-less socket uses a “surface contact” structure, which not only does not heat up over time but also has low resistance and high conductivity, making it very energy-efficient.
Safe, energy-saving, and looking so cool, I can’t help but be tempted. Many parents are concerned about how to prevent curious children from electric shocks.
Finally, I want to remind everyone of the importance of energy conservation. Always turn off the power when appliances are not in use, and avoid leaving them on standby for long periods. It’s energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and it saves on electricity bills—what’s not to love?
