Precautions before flashing
1. First install the phone driver, please install the driver normally on the forum or Baidu before continuing with the following steps. 2. Please enable the OEM unlocking option in the developer options (if available). 3. Please confirm that your phone does not have RMM or KG locks; if there are, you will not be able to flash. 4. Please log out of your Samsung account and GOOGLE account on the phone.

[About TWRP REC] If currently using official ROM, please press and hold the BIXBY key + power + volume up immediately after flashing TWRP to enter.

[About DATA partition decryption] After decrypting the DATA partition, all data and files on the phone’s internal storage will be lost; please back up important data to your computer or external card.

First Flashing Process:
1. After connecting the data cable to the computer, reboot and long press BIXBY + power + volume down to enter ODIN mode, using ODIN to flash TWRP_Recovery, when finished, immediately press and hold BIXBY + power + volume up, do not release until fully entering TWRP_Recovery. 2. After entering REC, the system will prompt that the DATA partition is encrypted, slide the slider directly. 3. Decrypt the DATA partition (this operation will erase all data on the phone’s internal storage!): click clear -> format Data partition -> enter “yes” to confirm. 4. By the following methods: 1. Copy the ZIP package to a USB drive, then connect OTG to the phone (if possible) 2. Push the flashing file to the phone’s internal storage via ADB command (same effect as copying), command line: adb push xxxxx.zip/sdcard. 5. Click install, then select the previously downloaded ROMZIP file (if it is on SD card or OTG USB, please manually select the storage location), then slide the slider to the right to start the flashing process. 6. After flashing is complete, the phone will automatically reboot.
Regular Flashing Process
1. Please confirm that TWRP or other third-party RECOVERY has been flashed on the machine. 2. Download the ROM and required patch files and place them on the internal card or SD card. 3. During startup, press and hold power + BixBy + volume up at the same time, do not release, until you enter Recovery. 4. Confirm whether the recovery is (TeamWinRecoveryProject) or other non-official Recovery; the following steps are based on TWRP as an example. 5. Click the Wipe button, then click the Advanced Wipe button, select DalvikCache, System, Data, and Cache; note that you cannot select InternalStorage (internal SD card) and SDCard (external SD card), unless you do not want these data and can select them. Finally, slide the slider below to clear the data. 6. Press the back button twice to return to the main interface, click the Install button. Click the Storage above to select the storage location where you saved the ROM; if it is an external card, please select MicroSDCard (****MB), click OK, then select Aurora_****.zip, then slide the slider below to flash, and if there are required patch files, you can click back to flash the required patch files again. 7. Reboot the machine.
