In an effort to explore the innovative model of “Tourism + Technology,” on May 7, Shenzhen Lingren Group, in collaboration with Hangzhou Yushu Technology, brought the Spring Festival “star” AI robot G1 and the robotic dog Go2 to the Gaolan Shichuan Ancient Pear Orchard, using technology to invigorate traditional cultural tourism scenes and provide tourists with an immersive experience. On that day, the AI robot transformed into a “Pear Orchard Explorer,” traversing iconic attractions such as the First Bridge of Chinese Farmers in Shichuan Town and Pear Blossom Creek. Utilizing advanced technologies such as dynamic obstacle avoidance and terrain climbing, it moved freely among the vast pear orchards, interpreting the beauty of nature through the language of technology. At the Shichuan Agricultural Museum, the robot posed alongside traditional farming tools like plows, stone mills, and windmills, visually showcasing the evolution of millennia-old agricultural civilization into modern technology in a form of “dialogue between the ancient and the modern,” creating a wonderful resonance between historical depth and futuristic technology. At the Honggao Exquisite Camping Base, visitors not only watched the robot’s entertaining performances but also interacted with it by shaking hands, experiencing cutting-edge technology up close.

“It was really surprising! I originally thought I could only enjoy the scenery in the ancient pear orchard, but I didn’t expect to be able to ‘make friends’ with high technology! The robot’s handshake was just right, and it even waved to greet me actively. Its movements were particularly agile, and it seemed to be ‘listening’ to me seriously, making me feel like I was communicating with a real person,” said Zhang Lixin, a tourist visiting Shichuan. This event represents a bold breakthrough for the Shichuan Ancient Pear Orchard in the integration of culture and tourism. Through AI robot parades and scenario-based interactive experiences, it not only provided tourists with a novel experience of “viewing, playing, and participating” but also empowered rural tourism with technology, exploring a new path for the high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry.Reported by Zhang Pengwei, All-Media Journalist of Lanzhou Daily Correspondents: Zhang Kailun, Wang Junqin, Wei Ran Text/ImagesEditor: Sun YueDuty Director: Wang HongshanChief Editor on Duty: Liu YuweiAI Robots Enter Shichuan Ancient Pear Orchard!
