ADC refers to powerful physical output, the epitome of explosive damage. However, there are always a few champions that effectively counter ADCs, causing immense frustration! Whenever an ADC has safely farmed to the late game and is ready to showcase their skills, there are always a few champions that either prevent them from dealing explosive damage or can directly take them out. Today, I will discuss the champions I dislike the most when playing ADC, and everyone is welcome to join the discussion. Of course, it might just be that I’m not very skilled, and for you pros, these champions might not be as scary.
12. Rammus
With Thornmail and Dead Man’s Plate, Rammus becomes a nightmare for all ADs. You will find that while attacking, you may end up dying from reflected damage. Besides champions like Vayne and Kog’Maw, other ADCs will be easily taunted by Rammus’s Q. Rammus is definitely one of the most annoying champions for me.
11. Alistar
A skilled Alistar is a nightmare for most ADCs, excelling in protection, initiation, and counter-initiation. His ability to engage in team fights and absorb damage after using his ultimate makes him a top-tier champion, especially when ganking from the jungle. ADCs must always be wary of his Flash combo.
10. Malphite
Similar to Rammus, encountering Malphite without Flash can be quite unpleasant, especially when hit by his ultimate. His Q slows you down, E reduces your attack speed, and W increases his armor, making him incredibly frustrating. In the late game, he becomes a massive tank that you can’t avoid.
9. Akali
She has top-tier burst damage and excellent chase potential, making her a nightmare for all carries. Her W invisibility can be lethal without true sight, and if the team isn’t coordinated, ADCs can easily become her prey.
8. LeBlanc
A well-farmed LeBlanc is a nightmare for all ADCs. A quick QRE combo can easily take down an ADC who mispositions. In the late game, having some resistance items gives ADCs a chance against her, but LeBlanc herself is quite fragile and has a low margin for error in the late game; otherwise, she can be terrifying.
7. Rengar
Many ADCs have experienced the fear of being dominated by Rengar. Whenever you see the exclamation mark above your head, it’s time to step away from the keyboard. Famous Rengar streamers often say, “Let’s activate our ultimate and find the ADC’s location.” I can feel the deep malice towards ADCs, as he can make your health bar disappear in an instant. Even with teammates providing some protection, one slip-up can lead to disaster.
6. Riven
A skilled Riven is synonymous with flashy plays—quick QAs, execution with her ultimate, and multiple displacements make her a nightmare for ADCs. However, Riven relies heavily on Flash in team fights; without it, she becomes significantly less threatening.
5. Irelia
Truly the king of counterattacks, in team fights, her Mercury Treads can help her avoid 65% of crowd control effects. As a tank, she still deals high damage and has great split-pushing capabilities. A skilled Irelia often sacrifices some health during team fights, then uses her balanced strike to target the enemy ADC, and after that, there’s no turning back. In the mid to late game, she is an absolute nightmare for squishies.
4. Fizz
Fizz is a champion that defies logic—high burst damage and agility with short cooldowns. He can even take down an ADC surrounded by five enemies and escape. A fed Fizz doesn’t even need his ultimate; a simple EQ combo can obliterate an ADC, making him a nightmarish presence for all ADCs.
3. Zed
Without a Mercury Treads, an ADC targeted by a well-farmed Zed has only four words to say: “No way out.” With multiple displacements, high damage, and his ultimate that deals finishing damage, he is truly a killer in the chaos of battle. Fortunately, this version of Zed has been slightly nerfed, which alleviates the fear of facing him.
2. Talon
This champion can deal explosive damage once he gains an advantage. Unlike Fizz, he heavily relies on his ultimate for burst damage. Fortunately, his E skill no longer silences, giving ADCs a bit of reaction time; otherwise, he would be a nightmarish champion.
1. Master Yi
This is a no-brainer; Master Yi is the kind of champion that ADCs can hardly face. ADCs have almost no chance to survive, as he gives them no room to operate. He simply runs in and AAA, and you will find yourself dead in two seconds. A skilled Master Yi can even use his Q to dodge skills. Since the introduction of the Devourer jungle item, Master Yi can directly transition into defensive items, making it hard to focus him down.
Perhaps you think some of these champions aren’t that troublesome, or maybe you have even more annoying champions in mind. Feel free to leave a comment and discuss who truly deserves to be on the ADC’s most hated champions TOP 10 list.
