On February 19-20, Wang Qijiang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Shandong Bureau of the National Mine Safety Supervision Administration, conducted a safety law enforcement inspection at Yangcheng Coal Power.
The inspection team listened to the mine’s work report and gained a detailed understanding of the underground development layout, mining continuity, and other conditions. Subsequently, they divided into groups to conduct on-site inspections of underground construction sites and key operational positions. After ascending from the mine, the inspection team conducted a detailed review of the internal documents related to the prevention of rock burst, water control, and the three prevention measures based on the actual situation.The inspection team reported on the management of the mining face, monitoring and control systems, and provided guiding opinions and suggestions. Regarding the next steps, Wang Qijiang emphasized that Yangcheng Coal Power should enhance its political stance, earnestly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on production safety, strengthen awareness of red lines, adhere to bottom-line thinking, and maintain a safe and stable development trend; they must strictly implement the main responsibility, increase the intensity of hazard investigations, improve safety governance capabilities, and resolutely prevent and curb major accidents; they should enhance the awareness of lawful mining, refine the implementation of national new regulations and measures, focus on standardizing on-site operations, and improve the intrinsic safety management level of the mine.Accompanying the inspection were Bian Qingwei, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Jining Energy Bureau, and Li Yuanqing, Deputy General Manager and Chief Safety Officer of the Group Company.■ Yangcheng Coal Power Zhang Xingliang Zou Lei
