Will Reach a Scale of 100 Billion Yuan
On June 11, it was reported that Liaoning Province issued the “Implementation Plan for Promoting the Innovative Development of Artificial Intelligence.” It mentioned that by 2027, with Shenyang and Dalian as the “dual cores” driving collaboration across regions, various industries will be deeply empowered, creating a new highland for the innovative development and integrated application of artificial intelligence. The province’s computing power infrastructure will be basically established, achieving a scale of over 5000 PFLOPS, overcoming more than 100 key technologies, and cultivating over 300 large-scale artificial intelligence enterprises, more than 5 leading enterprises in the industry, and 8 industrial clusters for the integrated development of artificial intelligence.
The technological innovation capability in the field of artificial intelligence is steadily improving, application scenarios are being fully expanded, and more than 5 influential vertical large models are being cultivated. A batch of high-quality industry datasets will be created, over 100 replicable benchmark application scenarios will be developed, and more than 200 integrated demonstration cases will be released, showcasing a number of innovative practices and industry applications, with the core industry of artificial intelligence reaching a scale of 100 billion yuan.
Xiaopeng G7 Equipped with 3 Turing AI Chips

On June 11, the Xiaopeng G7 made its global debut. Xiaopeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng introduced that the Xiaopeng G7 is equipped with 3 Turing AI chips, bringing the industry’s first L3-level computing power platform, with a computing power of over 2200 TOPS, which is 3-28 times more effective than other flagship models in the industry. However, He Xiaopeng also stated that despite achieving L3-level computing power, the Xiaopeng G7 is not an L3-level vehicle. To become an L3-level vehicle, it requires not only L3-level computing power and AI software but also L3-level hardware redundancy and legal certification.
Doubao Large Model 1.6 Officially Released
On June 11, at the Volcano Engine Conference, Doubao Large Model 1.6 was officially released, including three large models: Doubao-Seed-1.6-thinking, Doubao-Seed-1.6, and Doubao-Seed-1.6-flash. Taking the thinking model as an example, it has enhanced thinking capabilities and supports multimodal processing. Doubao-Seed-1.6 can support three thinking modes: on/off/auto. For instance, in the national new mathematics exam, the Doubao large model scored 144 points, ranking first in the nation.

Chinese Scientists Propose New Synthesis Process for P-Xylene
Recently, Professor Zeng Jie’s team from Anhui University of Technology collaborated with Professor Tsubaki Hanri’s team from Toyama University, developing a new type of “metal oxide-molecular sieve” composite catalyst. Based on a multi-step tandem catalytic process, they successfully synthesized p-xylene directly from carbon dioxide and hydrogen, setting a world record for single-pass space-time yield. On June 10, this achievement was published in the international academic journal “Journal of the American Chemical Society.”

Geely Applies for Multiple Safety Patents Including “Vehicle Power System”

Recently, the National Intellectual Property Administration revealed that Geely Automobile has submitted applications for multiple safety technology patents, including “vehicle power system, battery fault diagnosis methods and equipment.”
Among them, the battery safety diagnosis technology processes actual data from multiple battery cells of the vehicle using an AI large model, resulting in more accurate battery diagnosis results, thus enabling accurate monitoring and early warning of power batteries.
As early as 2021, Geely began using AI large models to simulate and monitor the safety of new energy power batteries and hybrid systems, thereby improving the accuracy of early warnings. For hybrid vehicles’ energy management, Geely’s AI large model can also reserve power in advance by obtaining the vehicle’s pure electric range, navigation distance, and fixed-point information along the route, ensuring that the vehicle has sufficient energy throughout the journey.
It is reported that Geely will release the fully upgraded Thor AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 on the 13th, using Geely’s latest AI large model, with a low fuel consumption of 2.5L under all road conditions and a comprehensive range exceeding 2100km, which will first be equipped on the Geely Galaxy A7.
