However, for users who do not wish to replace or cannot afford a new laptop, Lenovo’s AI Display offers a new solution. This monitor can transfer its intelligent features to connected non-AI computers, allowing users to still enjoy the conveniences brought by AI.
Lenovo stated, “With the AI Display featuring a built-in NPU, non-AI PCs will gain the ability to utilize large language models, enabling them to receive user commands, analyze and recognize intents, and allow AI assistants to execute corresponding requests.” This innovation not only expands the functionality of the monitor but also revitalizes older devices.
Currently, the AI Display is still in the concept stage, similar to the AI Stick that was also unveiled at MWC, which aims to apply artificial intelligence to non-AI PCs, helping users enjoy the benefits of smart technology without the need to purchase a new monitor. Lenovo’s efforts reflect its ongoing pursuit of smart technology and provide users with more choices.
