Flexible Low Power Modes

● Normal mode: operates at 64 μA/MHz in the most common working mode.

● Sleep mode: stops CPU operation in sleep mode, reducing the overall current consumption of the MCU by 80%.

● Software Standby mode: SW standby mode stops the on-chip functions of the microcontroller, reducing power consumption to the lowest possible level. Wake-up time is approximately 5us.

● Snooze mode: in SNOOZE mode, the CPU is in standby while enabling A/D conversion and serial communication, activating the CPU only when needed. This mode is particularly suitable for battery-powered systems as it greatly extends battery life.

RA2L1 Enhanced Capacitive Touch (CTSU2) Technology

● RA2L1 Enhanced Capacitive Touch IP (CTSU2) provides better operability under various conditions.

● Noise immunity meets the requirements of IEC 61000 4-3 Level 4 / 4-6 Level 3.

● Shielded electrode support and high precision temperature drift improve touch sensitivity, and its excellent dust and moisture resistance make it more durable.

● Thanks to better signal-to-noise ratio and the fast scanning of CTSU2, it achieves a proximity sensing distance of up to 30cm and 3D gesture detection with 2-finger detection, meeting hygiene or safety-related requirements.

● RA2L1 CTSU2 provides a single-chip MCU-based solution. This means designers can execute over 50 capacitive touch matrix keys and system control using one chip.
