Introduction
The Department of Electronic Information at Shanxi University of Finance and Economics has developed over the years, relying on a strong faculty team and advanced training conditions, establishing a comprehensive professional group system. Currently, it offers four majors: Computer Network Technology (Provincial Training Base), Internet of Things Application Technology, Electronic Information Engineering Technology (Key Major in Vocational Education in Shanxi Province), and Industrial Internet Technology.

Talent Development
The Department of Electronic Information actively promotes the pilot work of the 1+X certificate system, integrating it with professional construction, curriculum development, and faculty team building. The focus is on student employment, with professional connotation construction as the leading aspect, and student vocational skills training as the key point. The organic integration of “positions, courses, certificates, and competitions” enhances the quality of vocational education and students’ employability. Graduates have a high employment rate, demonstrating responsibility, diligence, strong vocational skills, and high overall quality, earning recognition and praise from employers.

Faculty Strength
The Department of Electronic Information has a well-structured, dual-skilled teaching team, currently comprising 28 full-time teachers, including 10 with senior titles and 14 with intermediate titles. In 2024, one course was approved as a key vocational education course in Shanxi Province, and one teacher received the title of “Three Jin Technical Expert”.

Competition Achievements
In recent years, the Department of Electronic Information has achieved remarkable results in the Shanxi Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition, with teachers or teachers guiding students winning 3 first prizes, 14 second prizes, and multiple third prizes at the provincial level.
